It has come to our attention that some people are receiving unsolicited mail appearing to be from Family Insurance. The letter states that the recipient has won a cash lottery prize and that to claim the prize the recipient must cash the enclosed cheque and forward the funds as specified in the letter. Please note that this is a scam and the cheque is fraudulent.
If you have received one of these letters, please:
- do not contact or engage with the organizers of this scam,
- do not cash any cheques that appear to come from Family Insurance Solutions Inc., and
- do not forward any funds to anyone
If you are in doubt, please contact us directly to verify whether the cheque is valid.
